Ky-Mani
Ky-Mani was born on February 26, 1976, at Falmouth Jamaica. He is among the most wealthy and popular Reggae artists. He sang in Shottas together with another vocalist Wyclef. Ky-Mani released his debut album, called Like Father Like Son in 1996. The album was followed with Dear Dad", which was a top-ranked album in charts in the British reggae charts. In 1997 Ky-Mani joined forces along with Praswell (Fugees) on Avenue a hit cover version of Eddy Grant's Electric Avenue. Marley was the first artist to perform at Midem a world-class music showcase which was held in Miami. At Midem's Cameo Theatre Marley performed a set which was aired live by the Caribbean News Agency to 36 nations. Marley came to be the target of a bidding war. He joined Gee Street/V2 Records, where the two worked together in 1997. P.M. Dawn performed the song"Gota Movin"Up" the song.
